What are we looking for?
We look for innovators all year round.
We scout innovative companies with the potential to disrupt the current apparel and textile value chain, bringing a positive environmental and/or social impact. In particular, we are seeking startups that address challenges in the following key areas:
Raw Materials
Replacing standard materials with new innovative alternatives. Exploring new agricultural techniques to sustainably and reliably increase yield.
Processing
New methods and chemicals for more sustainable treatment of textiles.
Cut-Make-Trim
Additive manufacturing, production and customisation techniques. Zero waste solutions.
Retail & Use
Circular business models which create solutions to improve the supply chain through customisation, visualisation, rating and microfibre solutions.
Packaging
Alternatives to packaging that stay in circulation for longer and reduce overall waste to landfill, be it factory-to-factory, retail to consumer or anywhere in between.
End of Use
From chemical to mechanical recycling as well as product life extension models, resale platforms and new business models.
Transparency & Traceability
Product marking, identification & tracing technologies and platforms that accurately and publicly disseminate information to increase supply chain accountability.
Worker Empowerment
Ensuring that living and working conditions across the supply chain are just, safe and dignified.
Mentors
Our mentor community has a wide breadth of experience with both technical and commercial development.
We cover everything from Commercial Sales, Pitching, Raising Investment, Business Model and Strategy development. Alongside Fashion for Good, our mentors help you shortcut your learning period and keep moving towards full commercialisation.
