Our goal is to see startups succeed
We offer the ultimate programme for startups driving innovation in sustainability, circularity and transparency in order to make all fashion good.
What we offer
Free (no equity required) 9-month accelerator programme.
Only through genuine collaboration can the fashion industry make progress – and Fashion for Good is fortunate to be able to offer its network and knowledge to innovators free-of-charge. We exist simply to assist in the promotion and development of the best companies to drive fashion’s much-needed sustainability shift.
Targeted introductions to industry leaders: brands, retailers and manufacturers.
Targeted introductions to industry leaders (brands, retailers and manufacturers) for potential pilot opportunities and commercial sale discussions.
Facilitate institutional and alternative financing
Innovation requires capital and we have purposefully built a network to best serve our innovators. From alternative financing to introductions to the most relevant investment funds, we seek to improve access to capital so you can drive your innovation forward.
Support from a team of dedicated technical and commercial mentors.
Introductions to technical mentors who are experts in sustainability and innovation within the realm of fashion, retail and beyond; introductions to commercial mentors who can assist with your strategic plan, investment raising preparations, IP, marketing and branding etc.
Networking opportunities with fellow innovators through our Wolf Pack programme.
To ensure you keep growing your network and engage with fellow innovators, we have introduced Wolf Packs – groups of 5-8 CEOs/COOs who reflect, discuss and assist each other. It is only through collaboration that we can change fashion.
Become part of the FFG Alumni Community
Your connection with Fashion for Good does not end when you graduate our 9-month programme. Annual Calls with Fashion for Good, connections to our Brand Partners, access to our mentor network, as well as Wolf Packs involvement will continue as you continue to scale.
Who runs the Accelerator?
The programme is run by Fashion for Good, as part of their wider Innovation Platform to support and scale disruptive solutions with applications within the fashion supply chain. You can see the full Fashion for Good team, including the team that work on the Accelerator here.
How long is the Accelerator Programme?
The Programme is nine months long and is based around several key focus weeks. During these weeks we organise workshops, mentoring sessions and meetings with our partners. Extra events are also run outside of these focus weeks, but they are not mandatory.
What is offered during our Programme?
We offer tailored relationship building with our leading Corporate Partners, including onsite visits, as well as in-depth support and piloting opportunities. This is in addition to investment intros, support catered to your maturity stage and mentoring from a wide range of leading experts.
Will Fashion for Good invest in my startup?
We evaluate all innovators entering our programmes for investment on a case-by-case basis and typically invest in a selection per batch.
How much does it cost to take part in the Programme?
The Programme is free for the startups to join. We do not ask you for equity either. Please note we do expect you to cover your own expenses ie travel.
Does my company match the minimum requirements to apply?
We evaluated our innovators holistically, at the minimum, it is required that you have a MVP, legal entity and a promising team. Please note this accelerator is geared towards supporting innovations across the fashion value chain, rather than fashion brands.
What happens to innovators after graduating from our Programme?
As part of our alumni network, you have preferential access to deal-flows with new Corporate Partners joining our platform. You will also be invited to showcase your product at high-profile events, as well as be connected to our network of alumni.
How can I apply for the Programme?
You can apply via the application form on our website: https://accelerator.fashionforgood.com/index.php/apply-now/ If you have any questions, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How does the application process work?
The process starts online with our application form where you will provide us with information about your team, your product and the market you are in. The questions are geared to understand both the business and the team. If we sense there is a fit we will be in contact to gather any additional information.
When can I expect to hear back from the application process?
We notify applicants one month before the Selection Day. Given the high number of applications we receive, we may only contact selected applicants.
When is the application deadline?
Our application process is open all year round, you can apply at any time. Once an application has been submitted, we will review it and if successful, decide which batch will be right for you. Please note that the application review may take a little while longer if we are in the midst of running a programme.
How do you choose the companies selected for the Programme?
The selection process is conducted alongside our Corporate Partners and we evaluate applications on several objective criteria. Please note that specific attention is given to the environmental and/or social impact of your company. We can guarantee that every application is given our full attention.
My company is not based in the Netherlands, can I still apply?
Of course. We invite innovators from anywhere in the world to apply. The Programme is conducted in English and all our participants have international profiles.
